Summary: This experience was amazing from beginning to end! The whole crew was great. I never thought I would add floating in a survival suit in the freezing Baltic to my list of experiences. But to add to that, we got to our floating location aboard a boat that can break up ice and glided along that ice sheet in what I've taken to calling "Our Teletubbie Suits." But even that wasn't the end of the adventure --- we took a joy ride on a hovercraft! We finished off our excursion with a light lunch on the boat dock and a walk on the island of Simsalo. Olli gave us a peek into life in an area of Finland that comes alive in the summer and is hushed in the winter. It was a unique and fun adventure. I feel like we saw a part of Finland that many visitors don't typically see.

Summary: I had the most amazing time during the ice experience. The scenery was magnificent, and I loved floating in the icy water. The fellow group participants were lovely, and the group size was perfect. Everyone involved in running the event was wonderful: Olli, Carl-Johan, Kennett, Robert, Kim, and Leif (apologies if I may have missed anyone or misspelt any names). Thank you all so much for such a memorable experience.
